Our family's CCM journey began when our son, Trent, was diagnosed with cavernous malformation and required emergency brain surgery. In the years that followed, we learned that CCM affects multiple members of our family, including our daughter Amarisa and me. This disease has led us to challenges, uncertainty, and difficult decisions that no family expects to face.
Along the way, we discovered an incredible community of patients, caregivers, researchers, and advocates who understand the impact of this rare disease. We are fundraising to help advance research, provide education and support for families affected by CCM, and move us closer to a future where no one has to face this disease alone.
