It's been a year and a half since my hemorrhage, but I live with this in my brainstem every day and think about it often, worried about what will trigger it to rupture again, and what will happen the next time it does. I sometimes daydream about some miraculous technology that could just zap it away - and what it would feel like to not have this always hanging over me.
The challenge is to walk 30 miles in 30 days, from June 1–30, as part of Strides to Cure CCM.
I'm striving for 150 miles in 30 days. I hope to honor those who have permanent and more debilitating symptoms, who cannot walk, or who have passed because of this disorder, and for their families.
