I am calling all friends, family and colleagues to join my team for the Strides to Cure CCM 30 Miles in 30 Days Challenge.

I was diagnosed with this rare brain disease a year ago after 15+ years of deteriorating and life altering neurological deficits and no answers. Since I never do things halfway😜, I also fall two more levels deep into the “rarity” of this rare disease. Currently, there is no cure or treatment. My many CCM’s are inoperable, including those in my brainstem. I have experienced and survived a brain hemorrhage.

My dear sister, Vicky Kiskis, and I do many things together. This is a journey we are also sharing as she is diagnosed with this incurable disease as well.

Luckily, we have a few weapons for this battle. Our spiritual Mother Mary, the Immaculata, who makes us God Strong. Praying the rosary, which gives us incredible peace, strength, and helps make us more Christlike. Most importantly, receiving our Lord our God in the Holy Eucharist has been an incredible lifeline. Our manna from heaven.

I can do all things in him who strengthens me. - Philippians 4:13

We are forever grateful to Alliance To Cure Cavernous Malformation.

We also have incredible family, friends and colleagues, who I know will join our team and help us raise funds to find a cure and or treatment.

Are you up for the challenge? It’s a fun way to get your exercise in, and raise awareness and support for cavernous malformation research. Who doesn’t like a challenge and helping a neighbor in need?

We thank you in advance for your support and love you beyond words! Every person who joins our team will be in my prayers for the entire 30 days of this challenge. Feel free to share this post with your friends and families as well.

MAY 15TH-JUNE 15TH

The Strides to Cure CCM 30 Miles in 30 Days Challenge is an inspiring and empowering fundraising initiative designed to raise awareness and support for cavernous malformation research. Over the course of 30 days, participants commit to walking, running, biking, hiking, rolling, or moving a total of 30 miles, taking strides towards a future where effective treatments and ultimately a cure for Cavernous Malformations (CCM) are a reality.
