We envision a world with a permanent cure for cavernous malformation (CCM) - available, accessible, and affordable for all.
CCM is a rare blood vessel disorder that can cause hemorrhage, seizures, migraines, and other neurological deficits in both children and adults. 140,000 Americans have cavernous malformation. Twenty percent of patients have hereditary forms of the illness that cause multiple cavernous malformations to form in a lifetime. Currently, brain or spinal cord surgery is the only treatment.
Alliance to Cure works to drive a cure and improve lives for all affected by CCM. Your gift will be used to enable critical research programs like our CureDriver™ Lab, our DNA and tissue bank, our patient registry, and our annual international scientific meeting. Your support also supports quality CCM clinical care, like our program to recognize CCM Centers of Excellence and Clinical Centers, and patient and caregiver support.
Thank you for your support!
